Working Away & Trying to Stay Safe
I’m a bit overdue for an update! Some of the monthly file releases have been on the more erotic side, as voted on Patrons, which due to the integration of payment options here, I can’t really discuss. And some of them I just have released for Patrons only because the timing didn’t feel right. One of those, for example, was Frat Jock. Written and recorded custom a couple years ago, I edited it down for a more general version based on Patron votes. But a big aspect of being a ‘frat’ type of jock is being social, and it felt wrong to release a file encouraging that type of behavior during a time of social distancing and with a lot of places cut down. I’ll probably release it soon, but keep in mind YOUR HEALTH always comes first. I try my best to think of safeguards for the files – push yourself, but respect your limits. I never thought of doing a safeguard for a pandemic. While some people may have different thoughts on how serious it is, and while I don’t want to get too political here, I simply urge you to look at the science. Yes, recommendations changed – it’s a new disease, and sometimes that changes. Even in writing these files, sometimes I see new recommendations later that I wish I had included for workout techniques! So why get these? Even if you don’t follow them 100 percent, they are still great for general motivation! I never promise it works for all but let the testimonials speak for themselves, that for many it does! But if you listen to a file that says work out in a gym (and I did try to say “or at home” in most, but a couple might be gym-specific), and the gym closes – allow your mind to adapt to think of whatever you have at home as your home gym. If a file says “be social” but your friend is high-risk, allow a social evening to include a night on video chat. If I focus on specific jock apparel you love and don’t mention a mask… realize that all the cool bros, even the dumb jocks, are gonna be wearing masks because they care about other people (and again, please check the latest science on this).
Anyway, assuming simply mentioning masks hasn’t lost me some of you, I do have plenty of files in the works that you can join in on! I’m hoping for a nice big recording trip in August to get at least some of these knocked out, recording wise. And be on the look out for more general releases soon, such as Mastering Movement: Motivation for Yoga, Pilates & Tai Chi.

The combination of COVID times along with helping family out this summer has put me a bit more behind. I’m still working hard to catch up with editing. The one positive for you of me being behind, is there is still a lot of options to join in on for versions of a custom file! I will be going on a recording trip in August and will get done as much as I’m able. Once it’s recorded, it’s too late to join – at least while still retaining a level of quality control.
